How to Register your Jaltest Software
In this brief tutorial article, we are going to walk through the registration process for registering the Jaltest software. This software is preloaded on all Jaltest Dealer Level kits; however, it needs to be registered within the first 30 days. It is worth mentioning that the registration process is the same whether you have the truck, off-highway or marine software.
Go to the Jaltest Website
First you will need to go to the social media icon at the top of the main screen and open the Jaltest website by clicking the Jaltest Web button (shown below.)
Register as a customer
Once the website opens you will need to navigate to the “Customers” tab located near the top of the page. If you’ve already registered, you can log in with your pre-existing username and password. If you are a new user, you will need to register as a new user. Do this by clicking the “Registration” button under “Register as new Jaltest user here.”
Please note that during the registration process you will be prompted to provide your tax ID, but don’t worry, you have the option of entering a generic number at this point.
Next, you will select which type of vehicles you work on and any specialties. You will also need to provide business information such as your name, position and email address. You will then need to create a password and enter your activation code. (The activation code is located in your Jaltest box in the black folder.)
Once you’ve filled out all required fields, click “Send” to submit your customer registration information to Jaltest.
Register your software
After completing the customer registration form, you will now be able to register your Jaltest software. To do this, you will need go back to the main screen and enter your newly created username and password. This will take you back to the Jaltest website where you will click on the Device registration button (shown below.)
You will then need make sure that your Jaltest serial number is entered correctly and then click continue (shown below.) This will complete your Jaltest software registration.
